What Your Notice Must Contain

A valid notice needs every item on this list. If something is missing, we may have to send it back to you before we can act on it.

1. A signature — physical or electronic, from the copyright owner or someone authorized to speak for them.
2. Identification of the work — enough detail to identify the copyrighted material, or a representative list if more than one work is involved.
3. Identification of the material to remove — the specific URL(s) where it appears on the Site, plus anything else (like a screenshot) that helps us locate it quickly.
4. Your contact details — name, address, phone number and email.
5. A good-faith statement — confirming you believe the use was not authorized by the owner, their agent or the law.
6. A perjury statement — confirming the notice is accurate and that you either own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner.

Where to Send It

Send your notice through our Contact page, with “DMCA Notice” in the subject line so it gets to the right person without delay.

What Happens Next

Every complete notice gets reviewed. When a claim checks out, we remove or block access to the material and, when possible, notify whoever posted it. We may pass along a copy of your notice to that person, so keep in mind the contact information you provide could be visible to them.

Counter-Notification

Think your material was taken down by mistake, or that you’re entitled to use it? You can file a counter-notice through the same Contact page. It needs to include:

1. Your signature, physical or electronic.
2. What was removed and where it used to appear.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was a mistake or the material was misidentified.
4. Your name, address and phone number, along with your consent to jurisdiction in the federal court for your district (or, if you’re outside the U.S., any district where we can be found), and your agreement to accept service of process from whoever filed the original notice.

Once we have a valid counter-notice, we may send it on to the person who filed the original complaint. If they don’t tell us they’ve gone to court within the timeframe the law allows, we may put the material back up.

Repeat Infringers

Anyone who racks up repeated, valid infringement notices may lose access to the Site, in part or entirely.

Please Claim Honestly

17 U.S.C. § 512(f) holds people liable for damages if they knowingly misrepresent that material infringes, or that its removal was a mistake. Before filing a notice, think about whether the use in question might actually be fair use or otherwise protected.

The Browser Demo

The Site hosts a browser-based demo of Scarlet Skips, pulled from a source that’s publicly available online and left unmodified. If you hold rights to the game or the demo and think it shouldn’t be here, file a notice as outlined above and we’ll look into it right away. When the demo is actually served from another company’s servers, we can pull it from our pages, but you may need to reach out to that host as well.

Material on Other Websites

Some pages on the Site link out to other resources, like stores or video platforms. We don’t control what’s on those sites. If your issue is with content hosted elsewhere, contact that site directly — removing our link won’t take down the material itself.
