These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set the ground rules for using scarletskipsgame.com (the “Site,” “we,” “us” or “our”), including every guide, table, article and other page we publish. By visiting or using the Site, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to follow them. If you are not comfortable with any part of them, please stop using the Site.

What This Site Is

scarletskipsgame.com is an independent, fan-run resource that publishes guides, tips and background information for the video game Scarlet Skips and offers a browser-based demo of the game for visitors to try. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the game’s developer or publisher, and we do not sell the game. The demo is a taste of the game, not a substitute for it, and if you enjoy it, please consider supporting the developer by getting the full game through its official store page. “You” and “your” mean anyone who visits or uses the Site.

One note before you read on: disputes with us may be resolved through individual arbitration rather than in court. The details are in the section called “Resolving Disputes.”

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms whenever it makes sense to. The version posted here is the one in force. Changes apply going forward and do not affect disputes that began before the change. If you keep using the Site after a revision is posted, you accept it. We may also add, modify or remove any page, feature or piece of content at any time, with or without notice.

Who May Use the Site

The Site is aimed at general readers in the United States. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Please also be aware that Scarlet Skips carries a content advisory on its store page, some of our pages discuss the game and its content, and the demo lets you play it.

• Use bots, scrapers or crawlers to harvest content or data from the Site.

Our Content and Third-Party Rights

The guides, tables, articles and layout of the Site are our original work, and we keep all rights in them. You may read them, print them and share a link to them for your own personal, non-commercial use. Scarlet Skips, its demo, characters, artwork, names and logos belong to their respective owners. We show them on the Site so that visitors can try and discuss the game, and we do not claim ownership of any of it. Nothing on the Site gives you a license to use those materials beyond playing the demo in your browser for personal, non-commercial purposes.

About the Demo

The demo on the Site was taken from a source that is publicly accessible online, and we have not modified its code, so any developer credits and notices it contains appear as originally published. It is offered as a convenience for personal, non-commercial play. It may differ from the full game, may leave out features, cards or mechanics, and may not save your progress. How well it runs depends on your device and browser, and we do not promise that it will work on every one. We may change, suspend or remove the demo at any time, with or without notice, for example when a rights holder asks us to.

Messages You Send Us

If you send us a message, suggestion or correction, you allow us to use the ideas in it to improve the Site without owing you payment or credit. Please keep messages lawful and free of confidential or sensitive personal details.

Our Right to Moderate

Guides Are Informational

They draw on our own play and on reports from other players, and a game can change through updates or behave differently from one run to the next. The demo may not include everything the full game does, so some details in our guides may not apply to it. We do not promise that any tip, ranking, number or strategy will produce a particular result in the game.

No Warranties

The Site and everything on it, including the demo, are provided without warranties of any kind, whether stated or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Limits on Our Liability

A Note for Parents

If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure in our DMCA Policy. When a claim is confirmed, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing the material.

Resolving Disputes

Before starting any formal proceeding, both sides agree to try to settle the matter informally by contacting us through the Contact page. Where the law permits, disputes that we cannot resolve that way will be decided by binding arbitration on an individual basis instead of in court. The exception is a claim that qualifies for small-claims court, which either side may bring there.

General Terms

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, agency or joint venture between you and us. If a court finds any provision of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent, but we may transfer ours, for example in a sale or reorganization. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and the Site about its use and supersede any earlier understanding about it. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
